The Productivity Improvement Program through Proof of Concept (PoC) and Recognition for Progressive Wage Policy (DGP) evaluates the productivity and effectiveness of DGP implementation for 30 companies, focusing on improving employee skills and recognizing employers with fair and progressive wage practices.

MPC is preparing Malaysia for the World Bank's B-Ready initiative, a significant project set to release its flagship report in 2025. This report benchmarks Malaysia's business environment across ten topics, including Labor, evaluating regulatory effectiveness from hiring to termination. It assesses three pillars: Regulatory framework covering employment rights, occupational safety, minimum wage, and benefits; Public services supporting labor regulation enforcement; and Efficiency metrics like social security costs and labor dispute resolution times. This initiative aims to enhance Malaysia's competitiveness and contribute to productive labour market reform.

The Guideline for Wage Ecosystem towards Increased Productivity helps organizations, including SMEs and large businesses, improve wages and productivity. It focuses on matching wages with productivity to create fair practices that benefit both businesses and employees, driving growth and economic sustainability.
The guideline aims to close the gap between wages and productivity, promoting fair compensation and reducing income inequality for a stronger, more inclusive economy.
