We are delighted to share the successful completion of our 3-day program, "Pembangunan Strategi Daya Saing Negara 2024," held from 25th to 27th July at Sepang.
The program aimed to identify factors affecting Malaysia's competitiveness in indicators with declining or low rankings, as well as those showing improvement. Our goal is to develop detailed strategies to enhance these indicators, striving to position Malaysia among the top 12 most competitive countries globally by 2033.
The event commenced with an opening address by YBrs. Encik Zahid Ismail, Director General of MPC, who emphasized the importance and expected outcomes of the session in line with Malaysia's economic framework.
An in-depth analysis of Malaysia's industrial structure, competitiveness threats, and strategic development through macro, meso, and micro-level analysis of competitiveness sub-factors and indicators. The session analyzed five sub-factors of Infrastructure Factor: Basic Infrastructure, Technological Infrastructure, Scientific Infrastructure, Health & Environment, and Education.
On the final day, participants presented strategic improvement plans for various indicators. These presentations included detailed action plans and summaries of strategic initiatives aimed at boosting Malaysia's competitiveness.
