Objektif utama sesi ini dilaksanakan adalah bagi memberi taklimat dan penerangan terperinci kepada wakil SEB mengenai proses pelaksanaan AiI-SLDN. Taklimat telah disampaikan oleh Pegawai Seksyen Peningkatan Bakat, MPC Ibu Pejabat. Turut hadir adalah YBrs. Dr Mazlina Shafi’I, Pengarah MPC Wilayah Sarawak.

The presenter highlighted the need to tackle regulatory challenges and define clear problem statements to ensure project success. The meeting also addressed the challenges of medical drone delivery, emphasizing logistical, cultural, and regulatory factors. The meeting agreed on the importance of a demand-driven service approach and ensuring stakeholder buy-in. A follow-up meeting was planned to finalize the project proposal and timeline, while discussions on vendor development in the aerospace sector.

This session was held between MPC, Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran (JPK) and Duduk Sama Sdn. Bhd., one of the organisation within the food and beverage industry, to explore opportunities for workforce upskilling through the Akademi Dalam Industri (ADI) initiative under the Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM) pathway. Representatives from JPK, Mr. Mazlan and Mr. Shahrol, explained the process for accessing the MySPIKE portal and presented a list of skills relevant to the food and beverage sector. Moving forward, Duduk Sama Sdn. Bhd. will notify MPC of the selected NOSS topics prior to initiating the ADI program. Bengkel ini dijalankan dengan kerjasama Bahagian Pengurusan Sumber Manusia (BPSM),Pejabat SUK Negeri Perak sebagai unit penyelaras Projek RKB Perak. Perak telah mendaftar sebanyak 24 projek RKB. Bengkel ini bertujuan untuk bimbingan kepada ahli kumpulan projek RKB tentang tatakelola pelaksanaan projek RKB bermula dengan analisa masalah yang merangkumi pemetaan proses semasa dan pengumpulan data bagi mengenalpasti faktor yang menyumbang kepada ketidakcekapan sistem penyampaian perkhidmatan awam yang terdapat di agensi dan PBT. Peserta bengkel juga turut diberikan perkongsian berkaitan platform dan penggunaan AI yang disediakan oleh MPC (Govtech) bagi mempercepatkan penyediaan laporan projek RKB. Seramai 40 peserta dari 21 agensi dan PBT Negeri Perak telah hadir pada bengkel ini yang dibahagikan kepada 2 kumpulan iaitu Projek 1 - 16 (PBT & PDT: hari pertama, dan Projek 17 - 24 (bahagian pejabat SUK & Jabatan Negeri) hari kedua. Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Malaysia (JBPM) merancang pelaksanaan projek Kecerdasan Buatan (AI) yang bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keberkesanan operasi kecemasan dan pengurusan maklumat. Antara tumpuan utama projek ini adalah pembangunan sistem pintar yang mampu melakukan analisis data kejadian kebakaran secara masa nyata, ramalan risiko berdasarkan lokasi dan sejarah kejadian, serta automasi proses pelaporan dan dokumentasi. Melalui kerjasama dengan Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), projek ini dijangka akan mempercepatkan respon kecemasan, meningkatkan ketepatan keputusan taktikal, serta mengurangkan beban kerja manual anggota bomba. Pendekatan ini juga seiring dengan aspirasi nasional dalam memacu produktiviti sektor perkhidmatan awam melalui adaptasi teknologi digital dan AI.

The first class of AI for Productivity Transformation served as an introductory session aimed at showcasing the use of Gemini and Google’s cloud-based tools to enhance work efficiency through AI integration. Participants were introduced to the current AI landscape, the role of cloud computing in enabling intelligent solutions, and the functionalities of Gemini within applications such as Docs, Sheets, and Gmail. The session also emphasized the use of no-code platforms like AppSheet to build customized workflows and automate processes, supported by live demonstrations and use cases. A key highlight was the introduction of Notebook LM, a cloud-based AI notebook designed to facilitate structured experimentation, documentation, and collaboration. This session marked the starting point before each Nexus conducts its own AI-focused session tailored to their respective sectors, with the next session scheduled for 15 April 2025 focusing on the Retail and F&B sector.

The Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC), through the Chemical Productivity Nexus (CPN), convened its first Nexus Governing Committee (NGC) meeting for the year 2025. The meeting, chaired by YBhg. Dato' Dr. Ir. Mohamed Noor Sany, Champion of CPN, brought together strategic stakeholders from both the public and private sectors, including representatives from MITI, MIDA, MATRADE, DOE, MOMG, and MPA. The session began with welcoming remarks, followed by a presentation on the Productivity-in-Context (PIC) framework. Updates were also shared on several ongoing initiatives, including the UNECE-ADR Competency Programme, the development of the Bio-based Industry in Malaysia, and the Professional Heavy Vehicle Drivers Training Programme (Pro-HVDT). In addition, efforts to enhance Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) practices among SMEs in the chemical sector were presented. The meeting reaffirmed CPN’s strong commitment to advancing these strategic initiatives, with a unified focus on boosting productivity, promoting sustainability, and strengthening the competitiveness of Malaysia’s chemical industry.

The meeting focused on the Productivity Improvement Programme POC for Automotive Upstream Vendors, covering its key phases: Awareness, Adoption, and Proliferation. The Awareness phase includes AI classes and a seminar, followed by Gemba assessments and Productivity Improvement Projects in the Adoption phase. The programme concludes with best practice sharing in the Proliferation phase. Key enablers such as AI, digitalization, and process innovation were emphasized. Valuable input was received from the President of Proton Vendors Association (PVA) and the President of Perodua Supplier Association (P2SA) to refine the programme structure.
