Business Excellence (BE) Programme

The BE programme is one of the Productivity Improvement Programmes offered by MPC to increase awareness on the importance of Business Excellence practices to business performance. The BE programme aim to assist organisations of all sizes and sectors in their journey towards excellence performance.

As the guardian of the EBE, we are committed to helping organisations improve productivity and performance by adopting the Framework.

In collaboration with the Business Excellence Community, we provide:

1. 1. BE Assessment services which provide a feedback report that highlight strengths and improvements that could be considered to continuously improve the management practices in your organisation
2. 2. Training for BE Practitioners, Assessors & Consultants (PAC Training)
3. 3. Identify excellent companies through Award Programmes: Anugerah Kecemerlangan Industri (AKI), Sarawak Chief Minister Excellence Award (CMIEA) and Global Performance Excellence Award (GPEA)
4. 4. Sharing of best practices through our annual BE CEO Forum and Study Visits.

Enterprise Business Excellence (EBE)

The EPE consists of 7 criteria for Business Excellence. This is a non-prescriptive assessment framework based on internationally comparable and holistic frameworks for managing organisation successfully.

Since 1990, Malaysia’s Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI) has been organising the national level Prime Minister’s Industry Excellence Award. As of 2014, the Award uses the MBEF as its sole assessment tool.
