Kuantan, 27 January 2025 – The Malaysia Productivity Corporation (MPC) is pleased to announce the second year of the Productivity Grant, now complemented by the launch of the ezBE Assessment Tool.

These initiatives reinforce MPC’s dedication to boosting productivity and strengthening business competitiveness at the firm level.

At a recent briefing session attended by 50 participants from 44 companies, Dr. Noor Aishah Hassan, Director of MPC Pahang, emphasized the impact of these programmes:

“The Productivity Grant and ezBE Assessment Tool are transformative initiatives aimed at unlocking firm-level potential.  By fostering R&D and providing businesses with innovative self-assessment tools, these programmes will enhance productivity, sustainability, and competitiveness across industries.”

The Productivity Grant 2025 aims to accelerate research and development (R&D) by offering funding of up to RM350,000 for projects completed within 12 months.

Applications are open from 6 January to 7 February 2025, and the grant now includes seven productivity nexuses: Agri-food, Tourism, Professional Services, Retail and F&B, Healthcare Services, Logistics, and Construction.

This expanded focus underscores MPC’s dedication to fostering innovation across diverse industries.

Complementing the grant is the newly launched ezBE Assessment Tool, a user-friendly platform that helps businesses evaluate performance across four key areas: Strategy & Leadership, Talent Management, Operational Excellence, and Customer & Product Experience.

The tool offers instant feedback through a concise 22-question self-assessment.

Businesses can also access personalized coaching sessions and advisory consultations under the ezBE programme to overcome challenges and implement tailored productivity improvements.

These initiatives reinforce MPC’s mission to build a high-performing, competitive economy.

Dr. Noor Aishah Hassan added, “The Productivity Grant 2025 and ezBE Assessment Tool represent the next frontier for Malaysian businesses to innovate, grow, and achieve sustainable success.

We encourage all eligible businesses to take advantage of these opportunities to enhance their productivity and competitiveness.”
